Funny that this is literally the most popular and most used gaming mouse on the market lol. It's been around for 8 years and still sells year over year. Your opinion should just be 100% ignored by anyone that stumbles into this thread
Love this mouse. Use it for office job, not gaming. The programmable macros are great for repetitive tasks in things like Outlook, Excel, and web browsing.
I got this mouse 17 months ago for $38 at a normal price. $80 as normal price is BS

I have been using one of these for a while after finding it hard to replace my g9x that I used forever. I got one 50% off and have kept it unopened as a backup, this is an amazing price for a mouse I absolutely love. Nice find and post!

Could you tell me which software does this use?

Awesome mouse. My wife has been using hers for maybe 5 years. I got mine a year ago after a string of shitty mouses. I don't know what it is about malfunctioning scroll wheels in mice lately but this one seems impervious.

I've been using this mouse since December of 2015, I bought it brand new from bestbuy for $39.99. I would say it has served me well, before that I used several razer's, one of which the usb cable actuall burnt up/melted. I do not use any weights, but I have had 0 issues w/ this mouse.

Logitech G HUB.

I installed G HUB on my personal computer and used the software to create the macros / hotkeys. Saved them to a "profile". Then saved the profile to the mouse's onboard memory. So now when plugin the mouse into my work PC, the profile (that I saved to the mouse) will work without the need for any additional software on my work PC.

NOTE: My work PC is locked down by our corporate IT, so I absolutely cannot (and would never) download/install any software not approved by IT.
This is my #1 use case for the "onboard memory" feature of these mice.

They no longer use the same quality components that they used to when I bought my first one in ~2014, although as long as you don't get a lemon I think it'll still last a long time. I bought a second at work and it has held up for a few months, but feels no better than my ~8 year old 502. Logitech did send me replacement pads after 5 years which was awesome CS. I'm now no longer using a hard mouse pad so I'm not worried about them wearing out again.

If you write software or scroll a lot during your day job, the infinite scroll wheel is a game-changer. Saves so much time and saves your fingers... which are important if you have a desk job. I cannot go back so I hope someone out there is selling this style of mouse for a few more decades.

Avoid like the plague. This was one of the worst mouse I ever used. For office work, it works sure but overpriced IMO. Where it really sucks is gaming. Wheel is an abomination, too many gimmicky buttons that interfere with clicking, extremely uncomfortable if you have a tad bigger hands and claw grip, may work for smaller palm grips. If you have a claw grip, and you like things that work, avoid.

Forgot to mention, it forces you to download that vomit of a software called g hub.

I know it can do macros but it's extremely confusing. What sort of macros do you use? and any tutorials you found helpful?
