i recreated my cart with incognito and did NOT try to add any coupons and got the proper pricing. so don't mess with coupon codes once you hit the link in the OP.
Browsing the Vans shoes show pretty good pricing with steep discounts already applied.
I don't know what exactly I did, but adding an item to my cart dropped the price by 30%, which in my case covered the $9.95 shipping costs. I did get a confirmation email after completing the purchase, so looks legit. Shipping time is 5-10 business days, so we'll see if I get scammed or not in another week.
