This is a great deal if starting to get into photography. It comes with a Kit lens, which is more than enough to get you started. As far as I am aware these changes happened sometime on 11/27/2022, get it before it goes out of stock. Deal also comes with a free camera bag (Sling Backpack 100S)

https://www.usa.canon.com/shop/p/...-kit-black -OOS

Also Refurbished M200 basically the smaller sibling to M50II, had a price drop ($299.00 + free camera bag):

If you're looking for the slightly bigger sibling Canon EOS M6 II - Body only - No lens kit - (Refurbished), it also had a price drop ($549.00)

Good luck!

Great system, but no longer supported with new lenses. No way to adapt M lenses to the new R system. That said, it will take wonderful photos for years and then you can move into a new system. Or by then phones may be able to truly do big sensor quality.

A terrific deal!
I picked this up during a previous refurb sale. It will output clean HDMI so it's a good solution for a streaming camera as well. For video recording, there is a hardcoded 30 minute limit. You can easily press record again, but it's annoying for recording events longer than 30 minutes.
There is a canon upgrade program. You can provide the old canon serial number to get 20% discount on a refurbished Eos rp. It comes down to $480.

Is there any extra code to apply (typical canon 10% codes).

CB didn't work on refurb cameras in the past. Bought a M6 II a few weeks ago for the same price. Arrived in new condition. Amazing camera.

They also have a free sling camera bag worth $30. Also got it with my camera.

Wow, that's a great deal. Would have saved me another $82. Definitely get the camera. I also have the original M6. The M6 II is such a huge jump over it.

Do you have to call them for the discount? I couldn't find any way to do this online.

Canon Loyalty Program is 10% off refurbished and 20% off new. Keep in mind they will likely ask what Canon you are using and what's the serial number. Not always do they do this, but be prepared.

Thanks. Too late now as I bought my refurb M6 II a month ago. Will keep this in mind the next time I buy something from them.

I believe this is $50 lower than earlier FP posts. I'm new at this. Please let me know if I've missed something.

Also available in silver/white: https://www.usa.canon.com/shop/p/...-kit-white

QA Note: The free backpack should automatically get added when you add the camera to your cart.

Decent deal at that price or a great deal with either the 15% cashback or 10% loyalty discount. Tried to get the 15% cashback but might call in tomorrow to see if Canon would refund the 10% to be safer. Didn't need it enough to spend $400 personally but it was hard to resist if I can get 10 or 15% more off the price.

Lens selection is a bit limited but really like these with either the kit lens or ideally the inexpensive 22mm f/2 lens when I need a compact setup.

Tempting... I would consider adding the 22mm f2 on this.
