Link??? Or are you referring to the MaxTool deal. I saw so many bad reviews of them that I couldn't pull the trigger and deal with any headaches with them. So, this for $20 more and a much better return policy seems good to me.

They do perform better as well, take a 2.0 ah battery and slap it on in there, and pull the trigger, then put a 4.0 or higher battery in there and pull the trigger, the difference is noticable immediately, nothing against the smaller batteries but bigger lasts longer and performs better

There's no question that larger capacity batteries last longer. But I've got to wonder about whether they're also more powerful, especially when fully charged. How does the electronics of that work? Do the higher capacity ones allow for more current to flow, perhaps because they spread their capacity over more cells and thus don't overheat and kick in current-limiting circuitry as much? Are there scientific tests that prove this? Sorry, most of those tool review channel tests, while fun to watch, aren't scientific. The only ones I'd trust would be Project Farm and the Torque Test Channel.

In any case, while I've been able to break nearly 100ft-lb lug nuts with just a 2Ah battery on my M12 stubby, I usually put a 6Ah on it for good measure. I don't use it long enough to need that much capacity for longevity, but I figure what the hell, it can't hurt. But does it help? Where I do find larger capacity batteries to be useful is with tools that get used continuously, like my M12 die grinder. I had to swap batteries on that all day last summer while derusting my car's entire rear suspension.

The stubby's a great tool, btw, my favorite along with my die grinder.

They actually make more torque with the higher amperage batteries. I didn't believe that at first either until I watched a bunch of torque test channels videos testing them.

Pretty great deal. I already had multiple 6ah batteries so didn't need a kit, but I'll take it.

yes you can use it, but it will be too weak to take lugnuts off. I use mine with XC6.0 batteries.
