I appreciate the transparent chat, but one thing you are failing to understand in the tone of your messages is that agent is not responsible for a single iota of that problem. If you express your problems seriously and nicely you can get the discount much faster and with dignity for both parties intact in most cases. You just need to separate the company and the individual you are talking to who is quite literally the lowest individual in that company's hierarchy.

My partner has the Antoras and she loves them. She used to have super expensive prescription insoles that she wore in a pair of Hokas that her Dr recommended, but she says the Merrells are actually more comfortable and help her just as much. She also loves that the soles on the Galactics are glow in the dark. 😅

Anyone know if their wide shoes are actually wide? Lots of manufacturers definition of wide is kind of vague, and varies a lot. I would assume 2E wide and not close to 4E

But I might try them...if returns are easy? Edit: sounds like they only accept "unworn" returns, but I would assume trying them on once and walking around the house is fine. They also charge a $5 return fee.

I know this is anecdotal, but I purchased this same pair of trail running shoes for my wife and they lasted less than a year before they got a hole in them. It really soured me on Merrell shoes. I believe their quality level has dropped from what they used to sell. Just wanted to share my experience. It's a shame because I had a set of MOABs that I had years of heavy use with and really expected their other shoes to be great as well.

Same story for me. I have a pair that lasted a few months before getting a hole in them, on the outside of the toe box. The rest of the shoe looks basically new with good tread on the bottom. It's pretty disheartening because I loved my old trail gloves enough to hoard 3 pairs and grind them down to nothing. Not sure if it's an issue of their recent quality,or their shoes just being too narrow, or both.
