4GB soldered not upgradeable. However you can get the far superior GWTN141-10 for about $280 on eBay. GWTN141-10 has i5-1135G7 with 16GB RAM and 512GB SATA SSD. In other words twice the processor cores, twice the graphics performance, 4 times the RAM, 4 times the SSD, 20% better battery life and USB-C charging for only twice the price.

Don't buy the GWNC31514 it's simply too underpowered. Not worth $149.

Bummer... this laptop would be $249.99 if it has 8GB RAM instead with the same processor during Black Friday. Saving $100 is a case-by-case basis for shoppers. Changing the OS into Windows 10 32-bit or Ubuntu looks worthwhile for this item.

Unless you change the OS into Windows 10 32-bit from installation scratch as the only solution. Then, it's the fastest processor with a 32-bit OS at lowest price for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

At least it's not a Pentium Silver N5030 that is very common for this same price. With a powerful Core i3-1115G4 instead, how much gain on performance from 4GB max RAM that it can perform? Will internet browsing or video watching be better? I don't play games, of course.

Damn... I'm embarrassed to open up this thread in error. Exactly 10 years ago from Walmart stores, there was a $178 Compaq 15.6" AMD C-60 1.00GHz, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD laptop that everybody waited in-line for over 12 hours to get one. How times have changed fast... LMAO

32 bit Windows isn't any leaner than 64 bit. S mode is tougher to install but the better choice if you can figure out how to do it.

OS takes most of the ram and storage. Pretty useless with what's left. You'll have to throw in another $100 to upgrade the ssd if it is at all upgradeable.
