I'm not a big car wash person but I do like to do a good wash, clay bar and wax at least twice a year.

If I'm going to clay and wax after a wash do i want to avoid soaps with a wax mix?

I usually do but i was just curious if it mattered.

Price seems to have dropped even further to $19.47 and $18.50 if you have max S&S. Pretty good deal.

Not a fan of these products. You have to be very careful not to let this soap dry on the car while youre washing. People will probably give me flack for this, but for 30 years, I've been using Johnson's baby shampoo to wash my car and it's been great. Cheap too.

I wouldn't recommend bothering with this if you're going to clay it after.

If you use old school carnauba wax, then this might be exactly what you want.

If you are using newer waxes (SiO2, SiC, etc.), then the carnauba in this will likely interfere.

much better brands and products to choose from unless you only care about the size of the container.

This is more for a maintenance wash, but the wax layer from this soap i doubt lasts more than a few days especially on a daily driver car.

There are cheaper soaps for cleaning prior to clay and waxing - such as purple power. Purple power will strip prior wax coatings but its safe on paint.

Yes, if you clay after then that would take away the wax, but really how much wax is this soap really providing? Anyways, this is more for a maintenance wash, I don't think this guy would be doing clay bar on a maintenance wash anyways.
