I bought this exact model Oct 2021 and just slapped in 32GB of ram. Been loving it, you'll want a proper hub to expand the usb a & c ports but make sure it supports Thunderbolt 3. I got that $45 one from Anker. I made the mistake of buying the $12 Ugreen copycat but it's not Thunderbolt so it won't let you use all the ports or two high end devices (ex: a HD and a camera)

The screens on these are not great (lots of backlight bleed and ghosting reports) but for $600 it's a great deal especially if you just plan on hooking it up to your external monitor.

R akuten offered 10% cash back on Lenovo website (yesterday was 15%), with Lenovo's $20 off 500 and EXTRA5 ecoupon (other ecoupon with urlhasbeenblocked also works, but only one can be use) make some Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 and 3i with better configuration below $700 price range. The sample configuration-

Or for $20 less (after discount and 10% cash back $744 including tax)

Does this have extra slots for NVMe and/or have ram slots on its MB? I'm bad with tech mainly and would like to have something that I can do simple things with but also play Steam games.

Would love to make this a 16 to 32GB RAM and 1TB also for long term use, and put all of my old stuff on it (W10 and MS 2013).

TIA

Yes it has both an extra NVME slot and upgradeable RAM.

I'm not good at tech, do you have any good videos to show how to upgrade the RAM?
