I bought this mouse recently. I like the mouse overall, but initially I had a horrible experience. The cursor kept jumping all over the place. On both Mac and PC. I noticed so many negative reviews online and multiple people complaining on Reddit. Couldn't find a solution. And there is no way to do a firmware update on this mouse (on either Mac or PC), cause Logitech's firmware update tool does not recognize this mouse yet.

Then finally, someone on a SD thread posted a hint informing me that the Logitech Bolt receiver doesn't work well with USB 3 ports. So if you plug it to a USB 2 port, or use a USB 2 extension cable (if you only have USB 3 ports), the problem goes away. And sure enough, that worked. The receiver is connected tot the KVM switch on my monitor via an old extension cable and the problem went away. It's still not perfect though. A couple of times I've had to just turn the mouse off and On again, but that's been a rare occurrence.

Bottom line - good mouse but firmware sucks. Either use Bluetooth or connect the Bolt receiver to a USB 2 port, or use a USB 2 extension cable.

Yes. Of course. But lots of reasons why one might not want to use Bluetooth.

For one - if you have multiple Bluetooth devices, you may not want to share Bluetooth bandwidth. For people with permanent setups and extra usb ports on the back of the computer, it's better to just plug the dongle than permanently assign a portion of your Bluetooth bandwidth to the mouse.

Also, for those that use a KVM switch, using the dongle is better so you don't have to bother hitting the button on the bottom of the mouse to swap setups. I regularly switch between my Mac, my bootcamp windows partition on my Mac, my work laptop and the steam deck. That's one extra device than the 3 channels available on the mouse. Having the dongle plugged in makes it seamless, and don't have to worry about changing channels on the mouse or pairing/unpairing

This is a way better deal than what Dell was offering. The 3S I really recommend you try it, the less click but better haptic makes it worth the upgrade from the 2. From the 3 I'd say it's a matter of preference.

I have two, one connected to an M1 Macbook Pro and the other to an M1 Mac Mini - both work great. Connected via Bolt which works much better than Bluetooth - Hint do not buy the "Mac" version of this mouse, same as the PC version but without the Bolt receiver
Thank you for this advice. I was minutes away from ordering the Mac version since I have a Macbook Pro. This is why I love this site, it's invaluable. If I hadn't saw this post, I would've probably ended up returning it, thus not being able to get the other mouse I want for the sales prices since this is a one-day sale. I would have to waste my time and go through the trouble of returning, and maybe even have to cover the return shipping charge! I appreciate it!

I've been eyeing this mouse since I bought the Macbook Pro 14 a few months ago. It's been in my Amazon cart for a few months. Finally saw it on sale 2 days on Amazon, albeit only $5 off! lol. I thought about pulling the trigger since Logitech's website didn't have any sale for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, or Cyber Monday.

Sneaky Logitech have this $25 off sale the day after Cyber Monday. Again, patience prevails. Thanks OP and SD for saving me money once again.

Remember, use your Chase Freedom CC and pay for this order via Paypal for an extra 5% back on top of the $25 off!

I saw this or the 3 from Walmart for $60. I don't know if it's still available though. Worth the check before pulling the trigger.

Have been using this mouse five days a week for six months. I've charged it probably twice.

Paid $99 and would buy again.

If you are switching devices do not buy this. The placement of the switch is underneath which makes it quite annoying. I ended up getting a second mouse for my laptop so I don't have to flip over the mouse every time.

Looks like it's OOS. This has to be something SD is partly responsible for. lol

I don't think so. I see they took out the black one, and only have the pale grey and white ones. But there's no Buy/Add to cart option. Another weird thing is, the price is showing at $169.95 now. Logitech is kinda weird.

For folks contemplating on purchasing this, be aware that this has silent clicks, I can barely hear it when using. Im in meetings all the time so this mouse is perfect, doesnt distract anyone when I'm using it. But I hate using this at home because I like the clicking sound so I kept my Master 3 for home use.
