I received this TV today Dec 06

Delivery: I signed up for text notifications. They sent a text each step of the delivery.

It arrived on a large box truck. It was carried to my porch by 2 delivery drivers. No signature required.
The TV in the box is fairly heavy. You will need another individual to help carry it.

The box has 3 nylon ties straps around it.

The box does not need to be cut. Once the straps are removed simply lift the box up from its base the TV is in.

The legs on this are solid metal with rubber footing across it so it won't scratch wood.

The legs can be mounted in two locations depending on how you want it setup.
If you want a narrow setup, the legs can mount to the inside mounts. The spacing between the legs in this setup is spaced at exactly 24 inches.
I did not set it up with the legs on the outer brackets. But the out brackets are likely pushing 67". The outer brackets can be mounted at a higher point or lower point to give room for a soundbar underneath the TV. The inner brackets do not have this option.
The TV took about 20 minutes to setup, with our Gmail account.

It has a beautiful picture. Not as clear and deep and clear as our LG C2 65". But it still much much better than the TCL 4 series 75" we upgraded from.
Our firecube recognized everything immediately and setup the controls for the TV.
It does have a shiny screen VS matte.

Overall I think it has a beautiful picture. I am glad I didn't spend the extra $1000+ on a OLED 77"

I bought this tv a month ago. Have it mounted. It's bright, great hdr dolby etc. Of course only real complaint is the blacks. Wondering how it compares to an A1 lg oled. Seems like a fair comparison. Any feedback would be appreciated to see if I keep or return. So it's a great tv but at this price point, is there better is the question?

If same price, i would definitely go for LG C1 77
No brainer obviously but price points doubles for c1. Question though, A1 or this?

Several people have mentioned that the X90/95 isn't as good as the older 900F. If so, that's really a shame. Technology should move forward. People shouldn't buy new models that's worse quality than 2 years ago.
I have x900h. It replaced a tcl 6 series my son broke. It was a first gen 6 series I don't know about newer versions. But my 900h is quite a bit better to me than my old tcl

I have the 900F and love it. I see a little blooming... But with a 4k feed... It's just gorgeous.

Same here. Finally got one. Once in cart and then checkout had to hit Place Order about a dozen times.

I have this TV. It is outstanding for HDR content due to the brightness, and Sony's renowned image processing. However, keep in mind:

It is still a full array LED, and even with local dimming you will see blooming on dark content, especially in a dark room.

You will have dirty screen effect at this size, it's just a question of how bad it will be. I've spoken to several owners and they're all in the range of acceptable to somewhat bad. If you watch a lot of sports, beware.

I don't regret it and at under $1,500 it is a tremendous value even with the considerations above. If any of that bothers you, pay up and get an OLED set.

Nobody can seem to answer how this tv compares to an lg A1.

We are still loving our 75" X900E! Especially it's upscaling of lower quality TV broadcasts content, which is most of what we watch..
