I received this TV today Dec 06

Delivery: I signed up for text notifications. They sent a text each step of the delivery.

It arrived on a large box truck. It was carried to my porch by 2 delivery drivers. No signature required.
The TV in the box is fairly heavy. You will need another individual to help carry it.

The box has 3 nylon ties straps around it.

The box does not need to be cut. Once the straps are removed simply lift the box up from its base the TV is in.

The legs on this are solid metal with rubber footing across it so it won't scratch wood.

The legs can be mounted in two locations depending on how you want it setup.
If you want a narrow setup, the legs can mount to the inside mounts. The spacing between the legs in this setup is spaced at exactly 24 inches.
I did not set it up with the legs on the outer brackets. But the out brackets are likely pushing 67". The outer brackets can be mounted at a higher point or lower point to give room for a soundbar underneath the TV. The inner brackets do not have this option.
The TV took about 20 minutes to setup, with our Gmail account.

It has a beautiful picture. Not as clear and deep and clear as our LG C2 65". But it still much much better than the TCL 4 series 75" we upgraded from.
Our firecube recognized everything immediately and setup the controls for the TV.
It does have a shiny screen VS matte.

Overall I think it has a beautiful picture. I am glad I didn't spend the extra $1000+ on a OLED 77"

Nobody can seem to answer how this tv compares to an lg A1.
A full array LED will never look as good as an OLED in terms of black levels...even a low end LG A1. Mini LED/QLED is closer.

Main concern I have is how much "dirty screen effect" there might be. That's characteristic of LED TVs and playing the so-called panel lottery, you don't know how bad it will be until you try it. Also from the reviews I've read, it only has about 60 local dimming zones. It should have more with a screen that big.

Horrible Walmart Delivery Experience with Pilot

Issue #1: My item, Sony 75" television, had severe damage to the box on several places. My concern was this may have resulted in damage to the item. There was no option to exchange it it, so I selected refund.

Issue #2: There was only one delivery driver. I had to help him unload a very heavy item because the box truck had no lift gate.

Walmart has no option to exchange it, but the return initiation process was great.

Anybody have it just sit at the local pilot station for days? Mine is supposedly in Pensacola, FL but I can't find a Pilot location in that area and it has just been sitting there for a week. I called the general pilot number and they just said it will show up at some point. How did you guys get your local Pilot number?

Mine sat in ATL for the longest time and was scheduled for delivery on the 28th. Then out of nowhere I get a call from a driver saying he had a delivery for me and was 20 minutes. Luckily I was home, but the box had violent-looking damage on the bottom (see pics from earlier post). I was too concerned about what physical shock the TV might have experienced so I immediately requested a return. Note the box weighs about 110lbs. The pickup scheduling process through Walmart is very good.

Mine is very good. All LED LCDs will have some uniformity issues, esp 75"+. Mine has the grid and a few other uneven areas, but it is not noticeable in normal content, including sports, even when looking for it. I'm sensitive to DSE and would return mine if I could see it.

Also, don't worry about the number of dimming zones on a Sony. They are known to have excellent algorithms and have better local dimming performance using fewer zones than their competition. They are arguably the best in the business with it.

Now I'm glad it happened. Wound up getting an LG B2 65". Night and day difference in the picture (OLED vs full-array LED). Couldn't be happier.
