- The CPU performs below the level of a below-average mobile i7-12700H (yes H version). Cinebench R23 ~12k pts. A full 12700 is supposed to be ~21K pts. With all adjustable settings maxed via BIOS, Windows power settings, Intel XTU, the most performance I could squeeze out of this CPU was ~18k pts.
- The i7-12700H in my Acer Helios Predator 300 laptop hits ~18k pts stock settings in high fan modes.
- The GPU probably works fine, DDR4 RAM, etc. whatever
- The CPU is highly performance limited because Lenovo limits max temp to 90C (you cannot bypass this as far as I know, nor would I really want to). Lenovo limits the CPU power settings (PL1, PL2, PL1 time) below Intel's specifications, probably to achieve temperature/thermal constraints within the relatively small case.
That said, I do like the look of the case, a simpler and classier 'gamer' design. But just be forewarned you're not getting the full fat i7-12700 experience out of this CPU, at least with stock cooler/software constraints

Aint holding my breath on this though. A few months back, a deal popped up on here for an $80 Logitech mouse that was on sale for $25 at Staples. Mostly everyone's order got cancelled including mine. We'll see with this deal.
Hope it ships though.
the desktop 3060 is not even 10% faster than the laptop 3060 and thats paired with desktop cpu

laptop variants are weaker but not as bad as they were before the 1000 series which was when this comment actually had some truth
Whether the MB is ATX?
And whether the PSU is proprietary?
