Got an order in just in time. Would make for a nice HTPC/retro gaming upgrade to my i5-3570/GT1030 HTPC.

Aint holding my breath on this though. A few months back, a deal popped up on here for an $80 Logitech mouse that was on sale for $25 at Staples. Mostly everyone's order got cancelled including mine. We'll see with this deal.

This better ship as Staples has played this game before. Other than that $850 Dell, best deal I've seen past few weeks.

I think Slickdeals hides the deals
I think so, so you will have to self monitor 24/7 to ensure no deal goes unnoticed.

Great deal for me bc I spent way too much on this website looking for PC components. Now I got a better deal with this fully built PC than I could have gotten building it myself.

Hope it ships though.

the desktop 3060 is not even 10% faster than the laptop 3060 and thats paired with desktop cpu

Only 10% faster? That's the same thing userbenchmark.com shows. And people still say nothing there is accurate.

Passed. Good deal but GPUs are dirt cheap these days and nobody is buying.

Mobile 3060 is very weak. It's like a 3050.
it depends on the wattage; it's up to the manufacturer to put money into voltage regulators and actually get it to spec on how well it's clocks are

laptop variants are weaker but not as bad as they were before the 1000 series which was when this comment actually had some truth

12 gb 3060?? This is a good deal, right? Is there a catch?
The only catch is that more VRAM doesn't mean better performance than their lower counterparts. It just means you will be able to play games that actually require the 12GB.

Anyone know what the max length gpu you can fit into this case?

Whether the MB is ATX?

And whether the PSU is proprietary?

Similar to another's post: Would Costco price match this for my existing order?

Answered my own question: I don't think Costco price matches.

Not an expert on this stuff but here is a similar build :

Microcenter 12700k plus free mobo - $350
32gb ddr4 - $100
2tb Solidigm ssd - $110
NZT case - $60
ASUS PSU - $50
3060 gfx card - $360
Windows 11 license - $30
Thermal paste - $10
CPU cooler - $40
Keyboard and mouse - $40

Total $1150 comparison price.
Plus time to build.
This staples deal is awesome.
