I was also waiting for Q800B and never saw it dropping back to $480 again. And I have even bought 9500S when it was $200 on Amazon, hoping to form a 7.1.4 setup. Finally I decided to pull the trigger after reading a pinned comment in the previous $240 Q700B deal, saying the difference is minor and doesn't worth 2x price tag.

Also adding the lowest prices I know so far, please correct me if there were lower prices.

9200S 2.0.0 $100 only pair with Q600B and lower
9500S 2.0.2 $200
Q600B 3.1.2 $180 USB playback(?), lack space fit and wireless
Q700B 3.1.2 $240 becomes 5.1.4 w/ 9500S
S800B 3.1.2 $350 pair with 9500s, slim and only micro HDMI in/wireless, lack eARC and optical
Q800B 5.1.2 $480
Q910B 7.1.2 + 2.0.0 $560 doesn't pair with 9500S
Q930B 7.1.2 + 2.0.2 $900 w/ $100 BB GC
Q990B 9.1.2 + 2.0.2 $910

How should we connect this with LG Oled + Nvidia shield setup for best experience?
I have no idea but would eArc not work assuming an LG OLED has an eArc port? It'll pass through any audio from the tv I believe.

I picked this up last time it was on sale. It's very good, the subwoofer is a little weaker than my old system but overall it's great and well worth the price.

Anyone know what the difference between the HW-Q700A and HW-Q700B is? The former is reviewed on RTINGS and other sites, and the latter (which is the ones listed in this deal) has almost no information whatsoever.

Is this just a typo?

What's the diff between this one and Samsung HW-Q67CB/ZA 5.1 from Costco that was 230? Comes w rear speakers
Costco removed "Atmos" from the description of the Q67 model after it went on sale. The only way to get Atmos out of the Q67 is by plugging it into a Samsung TV that has the Q-Symphony feature to get 5.1.2 sound. Otherwise it functions as a vanilla 5.1 system.

This Q700 model has two upfiring speakers in the soundbar which the Q67 does not have. The 3.1.2 Q700 can also be paired with 2.0.2 9500S surrounds (available last week for $190/pair) to upgrade it to a 5.1.4 system for a very reasonable $430.

As mentioned by others and research I have done, it seems to have inadequate bass…

I bought the Q600a (3.1.2 w/ sub) several years ago for $225 (open box- excellent) and it was worth every penny. This looks like a fantastic deal.

As far as bass is concerned, you shouldn't expect ground-shaking bass, but it's adequate, IMO.

Plug shield into one of the TV hdmi ports, plug tv hdmi earc out port to the sound bar earc input. Check TV to make sure the sound output is set to hdmi earc and pass through is selected. done! Also there is 1 hdmi input on the soundbar you can plug the shield into directly as well.

I think it depends what you are looking for. After adjusting a bit via Smart things app which gives more options it sounded pretty good to me in a small room. You can change the EQ. I put it to pop and bass seemed a lot louder.
