Great espresso capsules. We love Lavazza, though one of our machines does not like the plastic caps in that it requires cooling of the capsule before opening the machine (the other machine couldn't care less, so probably just a machine issue, not a capsule problem).
We solved the issue by using Lavazza in the machine that couldn't care less and alu caps from L'Or or Equus in the one that doesn't care for the plastic ones.
Made the mistake of buying during the last deal. They're awful. Not even close to any of the top secondary vendors of Nespresso - Peet's, L'Or, Starbucks, etc.
Shame, because I love Lavazza's coffee and espresso, but the capsules were a dud. Low crema, watery flavor, across two different machines.

Yep, somehow they're always frontpage here, probably due to paying for it but they're truly terrible. Once and never again.

Totally agree!!! Nespresso > L'Or > Pete's. I don't waste money anymore trying any others.
Hate to pile on, but these were the worst pods I've ever tried among the dozen or so brands I've had. Awful taste, a split between stale coffee and some kind of metallic twang. There's no body or crema to it and the latest batch I tried caused my machine to leak all over my counter.

Thanks everyone for the tips.
I am thinking about buying the Nespresso Essenza Mini for my dad who has drinken instant coffee most his life. But he can't be bothered using a full coffee maker.
Where is a good place to get the pods on sale? I checked Costco but they're pretty expensive.
Also never heard of this L'or brand.

Amazon usually is the best place, as they have most good brands for decent prices, with excellent sales from time to time. I haven't bought from Nespresso themselves in a long, long time.
Pete's are good, L'or are good too. Lavazza are plastic capsules (some people have problems with the aftertaste), and I don't like their taste in general.
Nespresso Essenza Mini are fantastic machines, I have 3 of them (home, work, summer house).

I want to get two and I drink about 2 coffee drinks (americano, latte) per day, don't want them to get stale before i finish

Steer clear of Lavazza. Plastic pods are horrible especially with Breville made machines.
