Most importantly, the tilting mechanism is resilient and offers very fine control. You can tilt the iPad to exactly the angle you want and it stays exactly in that position. This is in a completely different league than my old $100 Logitech keyboard case. I'm happy I splurged on it. I bought it open box with cosmetic flaw from Best Buy a few months ago for about $280.
I have not heard nor seen anyone say they regretted buying the magic keyboard, other than the reason for paying MSRP which is an entirely different discussion.
Other than that, I am very satisfied with it. Looks brand new, smell brand new, feel brand new even though it doesn't come in a original packaging and I cannot see the serial number for me to verify it coverage (I doubt there are anyways).
This closes and opens just fine and flush well as expected.
I like how the keyboard is more spacious than the 11' variant which is already too cramp for my XXL hands. I also like how magnetic it holds the iPad. I don't even have to worry about removing/inserting them when I don't want the keyboard.
Yeah I can feel the substantial weight difference of the iPad paired with the Magic Keyboard versus a traditional laptop but that really doesn't bother me. I am not holding this combo with one hand which isn't practical by design nor do lots of note takings. I do a lot of typing more than carrying around hence this purchase.
I am using this combination to work on desk for productivity and on bed for entertainment. The mini OLED/HDR is very nice and noticeably different than the 11' variant that I had for a little bit before. BTW I have this combo lies on my stomach when lying on bed/couch and it doesn't fell off as specific viewing angle so I can't complain.
Overall, I am very happy with this keyboard even though it doesn't have a function key or a larger trackpad but these small omission are livable. Trackpad, usb C port and backlit are game changer. I don't like typing on screen.
This keyboard isn't by design to completely replace the laptop experience but it is that darn close.
Just gotta be mindful of this iPad experience being different Than a traditional laptop.

Personally I don't like silver ipads because the shiny edges kind of distract you from the screen
