Deal Details
Google is being nice to refund the hardware purchase made for Stadia. I got 3 sets of Stadia premier before ($22 each). Hopefully, I get the money back. If you have made the purchase, be sure to check. Below is the email from Google.
On September 29, 2022, Google announced that the Stadia service will be winding down on January 18, 2023.
Due to this wind down, you'll be issued a refund for Stadia hardware purchases made on Google Store.1 Your refund will be issued within 2 weeks. Once it's issued, you'll receive an email confirmation.
It's possible that there may be a problem processing your refund due to the time that has passed since the order was placed. If this happens, you'll receive an email with instructions with next steps.

Sincerely,
The Google Store team

Expires 12/2, I had to speak with customer service to fix it. They can remove the expiration so it never expires.
I spent a couple hundred dollars on just the sub and only bought cyberpunk and RE8 to get the free controllers. So I'll get the refunds for the two games and that's it.
However, some of the dev might be nice enough to look into unlocking the bluetooth part of it

No follow up about the actual refund though . It's pretty cool of them to refund us lol. They would have pissed a lotttttt of people if they didn't lol.
So many people would have been like "Told you stadia was going in the crapper" LOL now some (definitely not the majority probably) will get to defend themselves and say "Well... At least we got a free 4k chromecast and controller LOL)

Pine64 is releasing a $6 Bluetooth microcontroller. Shouldn't be too hard to make a cheap adapter.
Now this is a cool idea
