I got the 14 ProMax on Oct. 16th and activated the same day and ported the number in. The same esim downloaded failed as the Visible App timed out and hanged. I had to re-download the esim the second day. Visible system shows my sim is re-downloaded. I think that is reason the phone did not get unlocked.

Now I am going to be on holiday abroad two weeks later for an extended period. I really don't see how the unlock issue can be solved.

I am seriously considering to port out visible number to another carrier and get a new phone from Apple and use credit card protection to get the phone returned. Not sure if I can dispute the case.

Different coverage though. Fi uses T-Mobile and Sprint I think. Visible uses Verizon. For where I live (a rural location) Verizon/Visible coverage is meaningfully better.

That's why esim only phone sucks l, bit it's Apple so you're using it wrong.

We also had no issues with 3 rebates including gift cards, airpods and speaker in last 2 years. Last one was done about months ago so not sure if things changed recently.

I signed up with Visible+ three months ago with two gift card offers and while they had glitches on reimbursement, chatting their support made things right. The service has been awesome - speedtest shows me getting 290+ Mbps on their network! The phone also automatically unlocked after the third plan payment. I really like the service and will continue being a customer for as long as they'll have me - it has been an amazing value so far.

Yes. I can understand going for esim to save the cost for manufactures by a few dollars.

But rolling it out prematurely with subpar app and support is purely the issue of Visible.
