Just as a heads up, I traded in some stuff yesterday and they have a promo where the cash amount is the same as GS credit. Also found out that they accept 2DS and 3DS units still. Got $77 for my 2DS yesterday and close to $100 for my 3DS.

I was going to trade in my PlayStation 4 slim 2 days ago It was getting $154 now it's getting $132 today.

Assume you're joking but they actually do still accept some Genesis games. Seems pretty random which ones they take though.
I don't think the tis quite correct. I got -1,650 and I didn't return anything during this year. I did trade-ins but that never gets you negative points. Actually, there has been even months when I didn't even use my $5 reward. I don't understand why this is happening.

That's where you'd be wrong. Gamestop's systems screw up so bad sometimes that when you do a trade, the system sometimes thinks you're doing a refund. So it'll deduct points. At least that's what the SM told me when it happened to me.

I'm probably gonna see if any of these trade-in prices are even worthwhile, but after my pro membership expires (i've been pro for years and years), i'm gonna call it quits. There's no point to shop at this ridiculous store anymore.

You always want to ask for the trade on a gift card, and so a separate transaction if you're buying something…UNLESS, they're offering a deal for more trade credit when buy a game, console, etc. otherwise, they will mess up your points almost every time. I proved it to the regional east coast manager and kind of went full on Karen to get about 20,000 points bc I caught them cheating me out of points. Also, they no longer give points in trade ins.

the issue is that gamestop is treating tradeins like returns in their rewards system. it doesn't matter if you buy anything. all my trades were negative points.
