At this price, this is exactly what I'm doing. In for 4 to replace my 4 v2's that over the years have killed some microSD cards, but the cameras are still working fine.

I'll shift the v2's into the bedroom to make some OF content now Wink

I've used v3 outside for a year, directly in elements, high humidity, rain, sun, no issues with either cam and still clear pictures without any cleaning. I rent so it's a solution that works for me without big investment. Lowest it gets in my areas is just above freezing, but pretty certain that wouldn't take these out.
