Because it's gotten to the point where these are literally the only type of sales we ever see or which gets posted here on the select brands of protein powder you can actually feel good/safe about buying nowadays. But yeah. Another lame targeted advertising deal that 99% of people won't get? Shocking stuff *eye roll*.
Market is what it is. Expect that GNC deal on factory sealed Optimum protein i posted on blackfriday, that I think got 2 thumbs up, to be the best no-YMMV-crap deal on legit powder you'll see posted here for a long while

I agree. I think a lot of us are frustrated and borderline insulted how MP doubled their prices in less than 12 months.

You mean Myprotein which spent the previous 9 years or whatever making countless millions completely undercutting the outside market, and with every speculative aspect clue you could find digging in to them and their history pointing to a logical conclusion of "this doesn't add up as being legit"?
From the latter exposed detailed truth behind how they exploded in popularity in the first place. Which was on the back of a third party chemist's test released at a time people were super jaded and desperate for a new cheap option to pop up with it coming out that pretty much every cheapy powder wasn't actually meeting label claims (turned out they handpick supplied the sample for that particular test). To their 3rd party company recommendation that actually amounts to a affiliate marketing company (who doesn't actually officially publish anything) generating the bulk of their income from MP sales. On to much more social oriented competitor owners frequenting the juicehead forums literally posting their own massive scale "here's an open look at the general profit margins involved. be your own judge on how much their own prices make any sense with all the additional manufactering and distribution costs factored in" receipts from the same supplier MP use in response to all the "why are you charging so much more then myprotein?!?!?" complaints.
I mean if you fell into that crowd that was essentially buying from MP exclusively on a "i really REALLY want to pay less" factor....they ultimately probably did you and your actual protein consumption amount an indirect favor man. Since to make the business math work you were likely already and at best paying out the same and more probably worse then today's price-per-serving market rate that entire time to begin with
