Serial 1 RUSH/CTY eBike w/ up to 115 miles range $2000 (Originally $4999.00)
Best Buy has the Serial 1 RUSH/CTY ebike for more than half off. Really solid deal for an ebike with really nice components. The belt drive is my personal favorite, they last forever and don't need lube like a chain.
DFW had all sizes in stock. I just bought a nomad velotric or I would buy this in an instant. In fact if this was a fat tire bike is buy it regardless.
How do you like the Nomad? It's also less expensive than this bike
Any lock can 90% protect 2200 investment from being stolen?
According to Luis the right to repair guy, the best is to glue and stick circuit boards with wires sticking out all over. Basically make your bike look so terrible that the thief refuse to take it.
Not sure what's wrong with the US market for last-mile e-mobility. Here we are discussing deals for e-Bikes and in other countries, you can get a proper electric scooter/moped with all the bells and whistles for less than what this bike costs with the "deal" price. For e.g. https://www.atherenergy.com/. I feel prices should be even lower, at least for the bikes.
I don't know much about eBike. But isn't $2000 a little expensive for a 17.5AH, 250W eBike? Surely belt drive is more expensive, I thought all rubber deterioates over time like tires. Worth the significantly higher cost?

There are bikes without e-motors that cost even more. the motor and battery are not the only things that make bikes more expensive.

Yeah but for an ebike that's all you really need. If anything this thread has shown me that I should probably just roll my own with a motor and batteries, will save a ton of money and not worry so much about it getting stolen. Plus I could put it on my folding bike to make it even more compact.

two of these
i find 20 mph so boring on along straight away...
would a 28 or 35 mph bike be a big difference that i won't get bored?
BB gives you until jan 14th to return so that's good.
walmart is better at jan 31 if you make sure their specific ebike is returnable in store, some are, some aren't. so be careful with that.
