I just received my G2 77" and we watched Black panther UHD blu Ray. I must say it is one of the best TVs I have owned. I was a Sony fanboy but this has way better picture quality and has 5 yr panel warranty.

Some folks may wanna know this - you can mount it on a tilt mount without any problem. The mount provided in the box barely has any tilt. It is good if you are going for that wall frame mode.

I am not sure about this retailer though. They may not be authorized retailer for LG products.

I researched Discount Bandit about 5 years ago. At that time, when you placed an order, they didn't have any merchandise on hand. They took your order along with other orders they received and shopped it around trying to get quantity discounts. The delivery times were exceedingly long. It seemed sketchy at the time so we didn't go with them.

They may do business differently now as they claim this item is in stock and can be delivered in 5 days. I would guess they now negotiate with wholesalers in advance. They likely secure a price and promise a certain volume.

Excellent price but the dealer doesn't inspire confidence. Same for their return policy. I would read the bit about freight carrier delivery very carefully. The wording says "seller" and not Discount Bandit, which implies you would have to deal with returns to an unknown seller.

Refund Policy

Unless otherwise indicated on the product detail page of the item that you purchased, items are returnable within 30 days of purchase if returned in new condition. Once your returned item has been received by the seller, you can expect a refund in approximately 1 to 2 weeks. To initiate a return, contact your seller via their website, email address, or phone number.

Sellers have agreed to comply with the respective return policies listed on our product detail pages. When placing an order, you are agreeing to abide by the return policies listed on the product detail pages for the items that you are looking to purchase. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. I wouldn't trust a site that isn't well known and I wouldn't trust a price on this TV under $2K. Something just doesn't add up here.

EDIT: It's a better deal on buydig ($2200) if you factor in the included extended warranty ($300) and the Visa gift cards ($250). I would trust buydig over this place.

I was able to get a 65" for $1,900 from a brick and mortar store near me (video only)... Nice not to have to ship it. Also negotiated an additional 5-year warranty from them on top of LG's 5-year warranty.

Super happy with the TV. Installed it myself and it's gorgeous on the wall
