Just a heads up, these don't come with screws. You have to purchase those separately.

just a heads up - but for all I know I'm the dumbest person in the world and this is obvious to anyone who looks at the description of the product Smilie (I have absolutely no experience with radiator cooling) .. there are amazon reviews which state that the fans are intended for radiator cooling but people were apparently able to make it work as a case fan with some jury rigging despite the holes not being threaded .. apparently 6 and #8 machine bolts at home depot worked but that user review mentioned it was for a mini ITX build no idea if say a microATX or ATX case for example would use the same screws (hopefully someone is more knowledgeable than me about this and can comment on it Smilie ) ..

Fyi these are great fans. Downside they are loud. Have them on 280 rad. Anything over 800rpm is noticeable. Just a heads up.

Even with the FDB? I assumed any model with this type of bearing was pretty silent

Could I use these to help cool my shed? Are they 12v like I could hook up to a battery? I understand they are intended for a pc, just wondering how hard it would be to mod since I'm not too familiar with "PWM". Thanks!

Just buy an actual exhaust and save yourself some grief. These don't move much air, meanwhile, even a small 6" exhaust fan will move several hundred cfm. not to mention, computer fans aren't exactly built to deal with the environment you'll find in a shed.

I am currently using two of these in a Fractal Meshify C ATX case. As long as your case can accept 140mm fans you should be able to use them (regardless of the case size). Fortunately I already had whole bunch of #8 bolts (1/ 1/4 inch long) with nuts that I was able to use to secure the fans.

The fans are quiet during normal operation but will get loud under full load and move a lot of air.
