I just bought 6 of these at $15. They are very bright and it is nice to have them turn on walking into the shop. I can't say how long they will last, but they work good for me.

Won't survive a child stepping on it, but it should be fine hanging on a ceiling where it should be in the first place.

Been using these in my laundry room and garage for 1.5 years and they are fantastic. They do feel cheap but they work great and are bright.

There is a plug in each to allow them to be daisy-chained. There's actually an instruction pamphlet with full instructions as one of the images, although you've really got to zoom in to read it.
The ones I got from BJs & Costco allows the power to be shared but does not turn them all on/off at the same time.

buying them in packs of 2 saves $1/pack
Strangely (or perhaps not so strange for Walmart), it showed $29 for the 2-pack for me. But when I select it, the price changed to 18.94. However, free home delivery for 10 singles is tomorrow and 5 2-packs would be an extra week.

Anyone know the wattage while on and the power consumption while off but motion sensing?

Yeah, there are a lot of different ways of running these. My garage has a switched oulet that I have a similar one plugged into. So I could add others and they'd all switch on / off with my main switch. (The actual light pull switch is always left on.) Many different ways of doing things like this though. Overall, good to have the plug as an option even if everyone won't use it.

being a low profile light they might be okay for under cabinets to light up counters, but you might have to put some kind of shield on the front side so they dont blind you.

its just a CA thing. just dont lick and suck on it and you should be okay. laugh out loud
When some people find a 3 footer, that's all they can think to do.

I have a low ceiling garage (7.5ft to be exact) so I don't necessarily have room for them to hang. Can these be mounted flush to the ceiling?

Yes, there is an option to flush-mount. You can zoom in to see it on the instruction page image, which is probably also included in the box.

Can these be hardwired? Or am I better off putting an outlet where the existing fluorescent is now?

So does the power cord double as the "linking" cord or is a separate one w diff connector? I have a shortie version of this w less lumen and no motion detection that is also linkable but the link cable is different. Now that I think about it, the linking connection may actually be DC instead of AC—too lazy to go investigate at the moment
