I have called the CSR costumer care to explore about the retention offer. The representative gave me $150 statement credit. It may be worth to give a call if you have your annual fee ($550) due now!

After first year $300 travel credit for booking on capitalone travel website + 100000 point for renewal of card + unlimited use of priority pass for all users on account.
So basically effective fees you are paying is ZERO
Called last week and wasn't offered any offers. Called again this week and got offered $150 statement credit. I guess I'll be keeping the card for another year.
Opposite situation: called sunday rep said there was a retention offer but told me to call back monday to talk to retention group. Called back today they said no offers. Wth.
Ugg never get retention offers, I think they looks at the amount of points you get the base it on that. Got 200k points in spend this year so they lose money on me each year
$395 annual fees & 75 k bonus miles which is $ 750 . You will also get $300 cashback when you book travel from capitalone website. + one time global entry or TSA credit for $100 & priority pass lounge access for you & authorized user on account
So in other word you pay $395 and you will get $1150 back= $755 profit by opening this card
when you spend $4 k in first 3 months
is it $750 in cash? i see it as .5 for converting to cash or statement credit
Another datapoint - Called ~2 weeks ago, was offered nothing. Called today and was offered 250 to keep the account open.
What were the dates? I just called and had no offer but the representative said that offers renew every 1st of month so wanted to confirm if your first call was before 1st.

Just reviewed my call log. The first call was on December 1st, 2nd call was Dec 13th.
I don't really understand this card but I have a chase freedom, is this worth a try on that? I don't pay any "fees" as far as I know.
Honestly this isn't for everyone. This card does come with a pretty high annual fee, but if you travel a bit, and can utilize some of the other benefits it pays for itself. Some of the benefits that help offset some of those fees -
- $300 annual travel credit
- Free DashPass subscription
- $5 monthly credit for Doordash (can be carried forward upto 3 times so max 15 redemption)
- 1 year of complimentary Instacart+ membership and up to $15 monthly statement credits.
- Priority Lounge access
- Lyft Pink+ membership
Called in to switch my card to the Freedom Unlimited and as they were processing it said the promo showed up and had the option of accepting it for $150 credit.
