I've had two pairs and honestly feel like these were a fad shoe that have gone out of style. Both pairs pilled and eventually developed holes in the toe box with regular wear (no sports/running). Would not recommend.

In my experience, the Mizzle waterproofing has two effects on the fabric: it becomes stiffer and doesn't stretch as much, and it also makes your feet sweaty if you don't wear socks (which makes sense since water can't get out very well, either).
The waterproofing does work pretty well, but it definitely comes at the expense of comfort.

I like my pair a lot, but they have a ton of pilling and look fairly beat up already in ~6 months.

I was just about to comment as well saying I like mine a lot. Definitely will keep your feet warmer. I haven't noticed pilling but I only wear them a handful of times during cold season though so maybe that's why.

Love mine and love that I can wash it. But after having 3 versions, I'm over them. Not liking the style as much especially for the price.
That being said, i wear my wools ones everyday in cold weather for quick errands and the tree version loafers in summer daily.
