Word to the wise that the case won't hold up to any abuse. I had this as a vehicle kit and it slid into the back tailgate- shell split apart and the trays spilled out.

Looks like the same kit they sell every year for $99 just a new case this time. I like it, its pretty good should have no problem working on your car unless you need impact sockets.

Is this the same kit that had a lid? Everyone raved about it as being the best one. There is a huge list of comparison. I've been waiting for that to come back down to $99 to pull the trigger. If I remember correctly, people preferred it
because it had less bit and more sockets... Wondering if this is the same.

These are still available on ebay from a 3rd party seller. For $99, $10 more than HD's current sale price. Free shipping though.

Had a 3/8 ratchet that the quick release stopped working from this deal and I had to literally bring back the whole set just to get the ratchet warrantied. Warranty process with HD is a PITA.
