This is about when the series starts to pick back up after a few slow/boring books. The last few book with Sanderson writing are easiest my favorite books in all of the big fantasy series I've read.

Great series! I hope the TV show gets to finish out the story because the ending is epic.

I hope so too..but I wouldn't hold my breath. It's 14.5 books and they only adapted one book in the first season (at least timeline-wise). While I think it did good viewership wise when it aired...I really haven't heard people talk at all about it since then. I wonder how much Amazon cares about how well a show is doing in between seasons.

How many people stay watching till the mid-point of season 2 will probably determine how many seasons it ultimately gets.

Personally, while I've read all of WoT and haven't read much of LOTR...I liked The Rings of Power way more. Hope they can continue with both...but if they got to cut one...

I kept passing over this series due to the size... Finally took the plunge a couple years ago. I don't ever re-read books or re-watch movies... I always felt like it's a waste of time, but I am contemplating re-reading the entire series because it's that good and I think knowing the whole story may make for an interesting perspective. So yeah, basically the only media I want to re do because it's that good.

They should give these away for free after what they did for the TV show.

To everyone seeing this: is there anyone that was waiting after the 10th book on a deal to continue? Is there anyone debating reading the series contemplating starting the series on the 11th book to save a 8 dollars?

I think there's a lot in the middle books they could cut out for the show but I doubt with how bad LOTRs did that both will survive long term. I wish wheel of time got some of that LOTRs money lol.
