correction: price is 24.99 for 2 x 16oz, just checked in store
My 12 year old daughter uses this as she has a serious skin issue with the backs of her hands. Super dry hands. This creme has been a lifesaver for her.
Best thing about this cream is it is NOT OILY. A huge dealbreaker for us has been high quality cremes/lotions that have been oily. CeraVe is NON OILY, which is what makes it great. We have tried a couple dozen different moisturizers, and this really is the one we have settled on. I even buy the 16oz bottles when I am low, at Walmart, for like $16, so to get it cheaper is a great price.
I see some others posting that they have gotten a 2 pack at Costco and I have never seen these at Costco where I live, for some reason. If I did, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.
Anyone with really dry skin that needs something NON OILY, this is about as good as it gets. The ONLY thing that actually worked a little better, as per recommendation from my pharmacist, in the beginning was to use that breastfeeding moisturizer lanolin on my daughter's hands, but that was just a stop-gap to improve her dryness immediately as it was very pricy, and then we moved on to daily use of CeraVe. We even buy the little smaller size ones so she can keep it in her backpack at school, like 3-5iz size.
Anyone asking, YES, this is perfectly fine for kids.

Literally every ingredient in every moisturizer is a chemical.
What matters is the risk of a chemical at the given dose.
Costco seems to no longer carry Cerave although I used to see them in the warehouse. Now they only have Cetaphil.

Actually I do.

So it looks like the
newerolder formulation has parabens (preservatives) commonly used in cosmetics. There have been some studies which found the presence of parabens in breast tumors, as well as parabens being potential endocrine disruptors due to their ability to mimic estrogen and bind to estrogen receptors.I found this with a quick search on the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics website: https://www.safecosmeti
I have been using this cream for myself and children for a couple years for eczema and it works wonderfully. It moisturizes without leaving a greasy residue once it fully dries, and when used regularly, limits the need for steroidal creams or ointments for eczema flare ups. That being said, I appreciate you sharing this as I learned something new and will take it into consideration.
Might eventually look for a paraben free alternative and ask my dermatologist.I found this with a quick search on the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics website: https://www.safecosmeti

I have severe dry skin in which my skin cracks (looks like very dry soil) . The older formula made it completely go away while not so much with the current one.

Ahh, my mistake. That changes everything! Thanks for pointing that out. Glad to find out they moved away from using parabens then. Now I don't have to consider an alternative since it works so well for us.
For me the newer formula isn't as good as the older one. I do realize they took out things that were potentially cancerous but it just isn't as good IMO.
I scoop it out into the pump 16 oz.
The best stuff ever for my face. The best.
A little to thick for body for me, takes too product to get entire body.
Im using the aveeno sheer body moisturizer now since neutrogena for some unknown reason discontinued their body lotion light sesame.
This cerave is great for body too though. Just a pain to put on everywhere.
