are any of theses shoes good for plantar fasciitis? Thanks
Yes the Nimbus and Kayano are depending on your pronation. I know it's personal preference but Asics are by far the most comfortable soles I've ever worn, unfortunately every pair my wife and I have owned end up with a hole in the upper by our pinky toes within 2 months.

Have you tried their 2E width? I used to have the same issue and switched to 2E. Now they last over a year.

I don't know what the guy is talking about I haven't heard of a certain Drop being outdated I always thought it was a personal preference. But I think at least some companies are going for a lower drop i been seeing 4-8mm drop on new shoes. I'm guessing lower drop is starting to become more popular which is understandable. I would prefer a lower drop as well so I have to agree 10mm is becoming outdated.
How do you go from "I don't know what this guy is talking about" to "I agree" in the same comment?? 😂😂😂

I've tried different widths, sizing up, etc. Every single pair, kayano, gt1000, gt2000, cheap pairs when i was younger and my feet didn't hurt, doesn't matter. Every single pair gets a hole in the same exact spots and it doesn't happen with other brands

*Rest* is the main thing that helps with plantar fasciitis

can anyone comment on insole padding for the 27 vs 28? I've loved kayano's for years, but my 27's seem to be very stiff compared to previous models.

I'd stay away from gel shoes - old tech. Foam or bust. The Hoka Mach 4 is stellar and usually on sale for around $70 - currently $90 on https://runrepeat.com/hoka-mach-4 . BTW Run Repeat is the hands down best place to find shoes on sale with reviews. Only place to shop and research other than https://www.youtube.com/@SethJamesDeMoor

Asics have never worked for me. Brooks and Saucony are better running shoes.

The real answer is no. I've run these extensively. Stay away from gel shoes. Nimbus are fine but not great. You should get Hokas - the Clifton or Bondi (softer) will change your running life. Smilie Once your plantar fascitis clears up you can move to a Mach 4 for performance.

(obviously rest is the most important but shoes will help greatly and keep it from coming back - I had a similar issue about 2 years back when I stepped up to Ironman training and was still rocking Asic gel shoes - lesson learned.)

Code "savings" takes 40% off some models such as cumulus 23, give that a try too and see which code saves more.
Yep, some great deals in the clearance. I picked up 2 pair of the GT-1000 10 for my wife. She loves them for running. These are great for overpronation and they were just $41.97 each after the coupon.

Good! Terrible shoes (relative to modern foam shoes)
