Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige currently on sale directly through Philips for $248.96, combine with the 15% email welcome offer and it'll take another $37.34 off for a final price of $211.62 before taxes.
Their coupon codes say they do not combine with other offers but it still will apply. I also assume this will work with their other products but I was looking at the 9900 specifically.

Has philips fixed the charging issue their toothbrush?
I bought 5 philiphs diamondclean from Costco (still expensive) and all of them start to have charging issue after 1 year.
Taking in account the price they charge for this product, it is outrageously a rip-off. I will stay off this junk
Maybe you got some duds? I've owned many over the years, never had a charging issue with any of them. In fact, when I go out of town I never take a charger because I know the battery lasts a little under two weeks w/o a charge.

I don't think so. I actually have 2 other diamondclean bought from Kohls, same issue

What kind of charging issue specifically? Are you using the glass cup charger? Are you putting it on the charging base after each use? I personally only charge my Sonicare when the battery indicator says I should, otherwise I keep it in a separate holder.
Side note: I've never had any charging issues with Sonicares. I bought the Costco diamondclean two pack April of last year (as well as Costco's oral B 2 pack; my first oral B ever.). Used both a couple times a day, Sonicare holds its charge for two weeks; Oral B holds it for 1 week. However, Oral B appears to.be more durable. My Sonicare's metal piece got loose. Called Sonicare for warranty submission, but they suggested I try going through Costco first because of their great policy. Returned to Costco and got my money back. The diamondclean again is on sale for $180 until 12/5/22. Not sure if I want to go down that route again, but I also have so many new Sonicare brush heads.

Wow electric toothbrushes have truly developed no new features in the last five years that are of any practical use. The oral b 6000 that I bought 5 years ago for 50 bucks is still sold today, and has almost all the features that this brush has. Not to mention it's being sold for 5 times the price 🤦🏽 ♂️
TLDR the only thing that matters is a good quality battery
Imo the Oral b brushes are superior because they have rotating brushes. This one is just like a vibrator for your mouth. I got one for free to review from Amazon. We didn't like it. The price makes no sense.
The model I had uses a glass cup as your charging cradle which also makes no sense and is disgusting at the same time

Forget the battery. In the 15 years we've owned these as a family of four we have bought at least 15 of them. All have the same issue from the basic flexcare to diamond clean. I've tried every model. With pressure and switching the brush heads on and off the metal tip would eventually loosen inside and the vibration would get very dull. The only reason we purchase them is because they are amazing when they worked. Keep our teeth clean. I will say the features on these are subjective for people whether they are justified BUT the vibration strength is more or less the same on every model.
The oral B is much better in terms of longevity but I stopped using it since the brush head would accumulate black mold and gunk since there are holes/openings in the head. I had a cough for a few months that eventually went away once I switched back. Not entirely sure if it was the cause but the only reason I could pinpoint. The sonicare is sealed completely with no holes or crevices for the part that goes in your mouth making it way more hygienic.
Aren't you supposed to replace the brush head every three months like a normal toothbrush?
I hated this brush, but mold shouldn't be an issue
I like oral B electric brushes because they have a rotating brush just like at the dentist's office. It feels good.
These sonic care brushes are like vibrators or hair clippers. It doesn't feel good to hold it, and it doesn't feel good to brush with it.
If you like putting vibrating things into your orifice, more power to you, but no one in my family seems to be into it because we all stopped using it within a month and switched back to oral B

It doesn't charge. The botton seems to be stuck and doesn't respond to press at all.
I put it in the charging glass cup only when the light turns yellow. This product looks like a scam. Your money would be like being flushed into the toillet.
Vegan leather is the wokest thing that came out this year.
You do know vegan leather is just another name so people will buy it? Vinyl leather has been a thing for decades. Couches, car interiors, jackets, etc have been or have had been made with vinyl for years.
I have been using one of the less expensive models of the Sonicare toothbrush for more than 5years. It is still going strong.
Folks who are breaking theirs are likely using too much pressure. With these brushes, you need to apply very gentle pressure. Change the brush head every 3 months.
It works like a charm. My dentist visits have become a lot easier since I have been using this brush.
Kudos to Philips for making quality products that last (also have a Philips soundbar that just wouldn't die).
Same experience, their customer support is great. My DiamondClean 9750 had issues out of the box, sent me a replacement which also had issues, but my third one has been working perfectly for the past 3 years.
The app was actually useful to me, dentist said I was scrubbing too fast but app helped me kick that habit by warning me when I did so.
Only complaints are the TongueCare+ brush head is impossible to find and sometimes brush heads will break early (loud noise), but very overall happy with it.
If I didn't already have the 9750, would get this for the compact travel case... The one that came with mine takes up too much space, but battery lasts 2 weeks so mostly leave it at home.
Is this recent? I had 3 fail, including a diamond clean and they only offered a 10% coupon on a new toothbrush. IMO, it's not worth buying the more expensive ones with more options, charging cup, etc. just get the regular versions on sale for $30-$50.

EDIT: was using a subpar 10minute email site.
A cash back site is at 10.5% too so that's another $20 off. Pretty slick.
