Deal Instructions:

Turn on your Fire TV device (Such as Fire TV Stick or television running Fire TV)
In your Fire TV settings, ensure the screensaver is enabled at the shortest start time, and ensure the sleep timer is either disabled or will start after the screensaver.
Wait until the screensaver starts displaying advertisements
Wait for the Shell Rotella advertisement
- Advertisement states "Shell Rotella: Watch our video, get a $3 Prime Video credit"
Use your remote to press play to watch the advertisement
After the advertisement finishes playing, you will receive an email containing the link to claim your credit
- Email will be sent to the email address registered to your Fire TV device
- Email is titled 'Here's your link to a $3 Prime Video Credit, courtesy of Shell Rotella!'
Click the link in the email to claim your $3 Prime Video credit

I spent a hour untill it poped up. 3 dollars a hour is good money.

I mostly use the Amazon no rush shipping credits for Prime Video so this $3 just goes on that pile. When I see that I have credits about to expire, I usually either buy a movie with some re-watch value or I look for cheap Movies Anywhere compatible Disney movies on Prime since they earn Disney Movie Rewards points that I eventually use to buy 4k blu rays. It seems like a lot of work but I don't stress about it or even always do it. Sometimes I just let the money expire. It's free money; there's no wrong answer.

I also was not getting any ads at all. Did some of the things suggested on the site but still no ads. Reset my Ad ID and got only one ad but not the Shell one. Several days later, I had stopped watching Fire and was on my computer. Suddenly, I notice the Shell ad but hit the wrong button on the remote. Waited and it came up consistently as the second ad. Got my email within minutes.

This is a joke, right? Or can you actually buy Kindle books with this $3 Prime Video credit? I don't see it reflected in the book's displayed price like I do for movie rentals, etc., where it has, for example, $3.99 with a line through it and $0.99 for the price after including my promo credit. The book just says $2.99 "1-click" and I don't want to 1-click if it's not "free" after credit.
