This makes a great drying rack for you clothes apparently. That's what my wife does with our exercise bike. 😂 I do use my bike weekly. Don't get this to be a primary clothes drying rack ✌️
Yes. The software just runs on a tablet. God forbid the day that these companies follow mercedes benz and disable the bike if you aren't subscribed to their service!
FYI, if you have an Ollie's Bargain Outlet near you (seems to be a Midwest thing), I just bought an IC4 (possibly a 2019 version so new/old stock but it looks identical to this) for $255. My store has a whole pallet of them for $299 and you get 15% off when you sign up for the free rewards program. I don't see anywhere that says it is a refurb and it appear brand new in the box.

Have them price match Best Buy's price
That's what I did. But I was doing it thru live chat. 0 for 4. Then I decided to call target on the phone to price match and the guy did it.

Great deal!

Copying and pasting my comment from a previous deal for this bike

This Schwinn is fantastic. I had never done spin bike exercises before, but I have several friends who were getting in shape on their Pelotons (all mid-late 40s). I purchased this during the April 2022 sale. In short, we love it. Extremely easy to put together. I watched this video [youtu.be], and had it together in less than an hour by myself. It's a small footprint which I wasn't expecting and was great for my small home office. The bike is well made, the flywheel is quiet and everything is smooth. I've gone from not exercising at all (except walking) since the beginning of covid to doing bike (and strength) classes 5-6 times a week.

I use it with the Peloton app on an ipad and screen mirror to a TV. Once the bluetooth connections are set up you can see your heart rate and cadence on the app. I do not feel like I'm missing anything exercise-wise by not using an actual Peloton except easily seeing my power output for PowerZone classes. You can find other apps to do power calculations and layover the Peloton app, at least in ios (Kinetic for one). That's something I'll do eventually. I do not care about leaderboard so that's not a big deal.

Everyone asking about a seat, give it 2-3 weeks or a month before purchasing. The seat hurt at the beginning, but after three weeks of regular riding, it never hurt again. I'm very glad I didn't spend money on another seat.

My friends all bought actual Pelotons, but it was just too much money for this Fat-walleter. With the $1000 I saved buying the Schwinn instead of the Peloton I can pay for 6+ years of the Peloton app. Just a really great buy that I'm extremely happy about.

My bike from the April deal had blue loctite already applied to the pedals. I've had no problems with them loosening or unexplained clicking.

No resistance control from zwift. I'm out.
Yes, that feature is for higher budget bikes. Just last week, you could get a s15i(with resistance and incline control from coach) for $699. So, if you are looking to do more than peloton style workouts, don't get this.

I decided to use the blue. It was interesting because my pedal already had the blue on the threads when I received it in the box. But I added some more for good measure.

I've had the bowflex version of this bike and used blue thread locker on the pedals. Zero issues in a year of regular use. Father-in-law did the same on his and no pedal issues either.

I can add that this is a great exercise bike and I paid much more for mine. I wouldn't hesitate at this price. I use zwift with my ipad. Included heart monitor works well.
Most everyone is an iPad or iPhone users and are using swift or some other app. If you use Android, what would you use? I have an very very old iPad, I wonder if that would work.... most likely not.

Was able to price match with Target. You have to call them and go through the prompt of saying YES I wanted to talk about past order even if you don't Otherwise they will hang up on you. Hitting 0 doesn't do anything. Just hangs up on you. Once you get through they looked up the Best Buy price and fixed the price in my cart. Buy your gift card first though as once you remove the bike from your cart the price goes back to normal.

Didn't they have the new s22i for that price on Black Friday?

Not sure if 10% discount from Target GC worth it. Credit cards provide 1 yr extended warranty.

Does Echelon EX-4s+ at Costco has resistance control from zwift? Also does it require active subscription to use tis feature?

We've seen this $500 price a few times this yr. Feel like in a few more months, this will be hovering in the $350-400 territory as the new low.

The typical workout is moving the bike to another corner of the room to dry the clothes. Peak use is usually Jan for biking. By Feb its a clothing rack.

Yes, I saw the Cyber Monday deal for new s22i on Amazon for $899. It's $1499 now. Older 2021 model was also sold for $899 at Best Buy. Their stores might still have some on clearance.

Don't believe any of the Echolon bikes officially support zwift. There seem to be some 3rd part apps to allow this, but with out resistance control from zwift. That said, I have no experience with their 'Echelon Premier' and it may have options to control resistance, although the reviews suggest otherwise. Do your research about the app you are signing up for, it's a commitment.
Lastly, I see reviews on costco saying you can use it without the app. however, don't really see this helping most riders- people seem to want either some scenery or an instructor with spin bikes. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your insights! I went with this Schwinn with PM to target, hoping it will work out good for my use case.
