This is an ergotron.
After years of using those monitor arms..I found it just easier to have 2 single arms... Much more flexible and not much extra space... And actually cost less

No way this holds up an ultra wide (34" Alienware) and 27" cheap LCD, right? I can only imagine it works best with two monitors that are roughly the same weight...
It holds them just fine. I've had mine for close to 1 year now.

Been starting to lean in that direction as well. I guess I'm surprised it's cheaper, but good to know.

Any suggestions for a good single arm mount?
Although I have ordered it but I am also leaning towards 2 single arms. I have height adjustable desk, I am trying to figure out that will 2 arms work fine and still i can raise my desk.

Any equivalent product that has single arm from Amazon Basics specifically?

Edit:
Looks like there this one, but it's twice as much (so getting two of these would cost 4x as much as this one):

I have the amazon basics single arm and love it. Have it on my sit stand desk and it holds my 32" monitor.

Well, I have 2 of the single arm (amazon basics ergo) version and it holds my Gigabyte 34 curved monitor and a 32 Samsung curved monitor. It's very well made. I am pretty sure it can hold a 34 and a 27. The tension can be adjusted on the arm.

Hi, Any chance you know the clearance between the desk and the monitor for the 32-inch monitor?

Does anyone have experience mounting a 32-inch monitor on this mount or the single version? If so, what is the clearance between the desk and the monitor?

I intent to use only one arm of Dual stand as dual stand is cheaper than single monitor arm. But, Are arms same in single stand and dual stand, I do see weight difference 20 LB vs 25 LB but I am not sure if it is due to the base.

Can anyone explain how to get greater flexibility movement from monitor arms when having two monitors? I find that two monitors can't be adjusted to exactly where I need them because they'll either bump into each other or have very limited movement

Just use one of the two arms, or remove one of the arms. Cost the same (on sale) or less than currently on the single arm.

Unfortunately whoever gave that review is a liar. I've been looking for solutions for quite a while, trying to avoid ergotron's rip off price for their extension pole. Looks like the only cheaper options are to buy a vesa mount extension plate, or cut the existing pole and weld a pipe in the middle. What a hassle for what should be a cheap and easy product for them to sell as a standard add on. Oh well.
Capitalism at it's best.

With the mount connected, it can go all the way down to touch the desk if you want. Not sure if that answers your question.

Guess the nice thing if I get two of these, and only use one arm (and take the other arm off) is I have two backup arms if one or both arms I'm using crap out. Since I assume both arms that are included are exactly the same.

May even try and sell the arms that I'm not using and sell them as LX ergonomics arms.
