Why all the thumbs down and hate on ember mug posts because they're so much more expensive than regular mugs (or mug warmers)?
It's a (very) expensive mug, but at $109 for a 14oz, this does appear to be a relatively good deal, especially for a different color than you can find at Costco.
I understand they're expensive (and excessively so compared to alternatives), but so are OLED TVs compared to blackfriday-deal, cheap TVs that show the same picture, yet in less quality than the OLED. But those high-priced, excessive featured TVs, are rightly up-voted all the time, simply because they are slickdeals to what the regular price is. We all pay extra for excessive features in some areas….I'm just struggling to know why we down-vote the areas we deem as not worthy for excessive cost.

I purchased one of these for my dad and he enjoys it. People who are regular coffee drinkers appreciate it being the exact temperature they prefer.
There are cheaper knockoffs of this product and the QC is generally quite poor, plus they're not nearly as refined. While I can afford this for myself, I probably wouldn't jump until it's around $60-70.
