We got two when Kohl's had the $50 sale. Use them all the time. FYI…use the app once to set them up. After that they're automatic. Keeps our coffee hot for an hour. Wash by hand, dry and set back on charger.

Is this better than a YETI or similar?

My coffee doesn't have much chance to get cold in one of those cups.

I'm guessing this is more precise rather than just a well insulated vessel.

I find pouring hot coffee into a room temp yeti actually drops the coffee temp slightly. I like my coffee HOT. I sometimes heat some water and pour into the yeti to take the chill off the cold metal.

Not worth it. Have one and way better off just using a yeti or hydroflask due to the short battery life

I think it depends on one's use case. For example, I love mine. I have it sitting in the charger on my desk most of the time and it keeps my tea the perfect temp all day.

Good product, bad idea. Firstly, coffee lose optimal flavor after 30 minutes. And Sipping coffee slowly will stain your teeth. Coffee is acidic, so prolonged contact will increase coffee stain on you teeth. My wife used to sip coffe while working, and her teeth was noticeable more brown than mine. I convinced her to finish the cup in 3 to 5 minutes, and rinse afterwards. The stain go away after a dental cleaning, and didn't reoccur. Also, drinking anything overly hot increase chance of cancer.
It's amazing that pretty much every sentence in this comment is wrong.

I feel sorry for your wife.

i got the original version of this cup and after 4 months of use the base stopped charging. it has 2 small prongs that no longer extend to touch the bottom of the cup in order for it to charge. my understanding is that they fixed that issue with this new version

i enjoyed using this cup. as someone who owned one of these, i dont think it's worth $100. id bit if it ever goes on sale for $50-60.
