I wouldn't pay full price for one of these, but honestly, it's one of those things that until you get one seems ridiculous. I use mine every single day and love it.

I got these when SD posted Target had them for $54.00 but that was for the original and we've used them most everyday since then.Does anyone know if the $30 difference for the Ember 2 worth the upgrade?

I'm sure if you are enjoying your current one, you would love the new one too.

I think I prefer the travel version more, since you can control the temperature directly without the app.

Daughter gave me one for bday in March 2020. Thought it was silly. I've used it every single day I'm home since. No need for the app. Works right out of the box.
