Believe this is the same model Costco had on sale for $999.99 during Black Friday.

The Costco black friday deal had only 512 GB SSD. So the current deal may save the hassle of opening the laptop to add memory (which seems messy and risky for this laptop because you must pry off the glued on "feet" to get to the screws, and they will probably never reattach properly. Video here [youtube.com].).

The Costco deal included a 2-year warranty. If you purchase with a credit card that adds a 2nd year of warranty, this may be moot.

I've had three going back five years and recommended a half dozen friends and family get ones, and they did. They're all very happy. Anecdotal, but these are the best laptops I've ever used overall. Don't get them if you do any moderate gaming, but it will play Roblox and Minecraft.

I have one of these and very happy. Its a few years old. One of these days ill upgrade the hard drive and ram and I think performance will be somewhat refreshed. Sometimes for business, you need a larger screen. It is so light and easy to maneuver. The price is very good. FOr buyers, B&H is ok, if it was Costco ith these specs even better since they have a longer return no-hassle return policy.
