Lots of wrong info regarding bed size here on this thread:
king mattress 76" x 80"
California king 72" x 84"

Twin XL 38" x 79"
Hence two Twin XL (38 + 38 = 76) make a regular king and won't fit into a California king bed.

Had to spell it out with the numbers as several people repeated wrong info…
Your info is incorrect. Two twin XL's make a regular king.
No two would fit under a "king" not cal king. I don't see anything in description that says they are attachable or can be synchronized.

Full is a good price though.

May I use the spring mattress not foam mattress on it?

I have in the past, but it's at your own risk, and likely not good for the mattress.

All of you are incorrect.
I know you all trying to match these for fittings and blankets. Here you go:

Two twins doesn't equal king nor cal-king.
Two twin-xl = king size.
Two adjustable twin-xl = split-king fittings.

The head base can go up to 65 degrees, which in reality up to 55-60 degrees. Max weight : 300lbs (expect including the mattress)
You cannot use regular/classic spring bed, only individual-spring bed or foam so it's bendable.

I would get $30 warranty for 5 years as well since mechanical failure happens often for any recliner.

I have 2 of these we used for a king. Currently, because we like different positions (who doesn't Smilie we use twin XL mattresses and have them shoved together. there's a pad you can buy for the gap. Use seperate fitted sheets and share blanets. Anyway, excellent build quality and they can be synchronized, but we prefer separate. We've had them for years without issue.

It says it covers product breakdowns and malfunctions after the manufacturers warranty ends (probably 1yr).

Paid $340 for one back in March and been using it since. I like it enough that I ordered a second one from this deal for an unused room. Great for a tall person in a small space, and no need for an additional recliner in the room.

Thanks! Would you say it's pretty sturdy if you're a big guy? Any issues so far? Is the adjusting adjustable (lol like could I lower the back up just a few inches or is it just presets?) thanks!

The recommended weight limit is 300 lbs. not too much if you're a big person and consider the weight of the mattress.

I already have a nice full bed frame and want to replace my foundation which rides on a few boards which rest across the inner lip of the outer beams of the frame. I wonder if the legs of this thing will fit inside the footprint of the bedframe so that I can use it as the foundation?

Would you recommend getting the Allstate 5 year warranty for $30?

In the bundle on the page for the twin xl platform, it appears that the mattress is just twin, not twin xl. Is this normal for adjustable beds or is there a mistake on the bundle items?

Note that Amazon bundles are misleading, they are presented as if an additional "bundle discount" applies. The "bundle" is the same price as buying each item separately.

Regarding your finding, it looks like you're right, whatever human or algorithm paired this bundle together didn't notice the mattress is a standard (75 inch long) twin and the frame is an extra long (80 inch long) twin.

And to reiterate, two extra long twins side-by-side has the same dimensions as a "standard" king which is also sometimes called an "eastern" king.

A "California" king is narrower but longer than an "eastern" king.

I just have to facepalm at how confident people are when stating, or further confirming, false info.

Only if the name brand starts selling on Amazon first! They are notorious for tracking which items are selling with decent margins and then undercut them with their own private label products.
