This phone will need at least 60 days of service to unlock. When you get the device make at least 2 calls to any number and send one text to 611-611, It will then text you back an Unlock date.
Steps to Unlock:
1. Make sure to Activate or Tracfone will auto deny your unlock request.
2. Once 60 days has elapse and you have had service for 60 days, you will either get an Over The Air unlock or you will need to contact your Tracfone provider to request an unlock code to fully unlock the phone.
3. If Unlocked by OTA, turn the phone off after you receive the unlock message for 1 minute and then turn back on and BAM unlocked!. If your unlock is via code Tracfone will provide you the details on how to unlock your device from the tracfone network.
If you do not have 60 days of service on your Tracfone or Swap the original sim from the phone you received to a new phone, Tracfone has the right to deny your unlock request.
AT&T's whitelist does not have this device listed, if you activate on AT&T it might activate but will shut off your service and suspend you account within 31 days of activation(No Refunds). This phone if compatible can be used on Verizon Direct/Verizon Prepaid, or T-Mobile/Mvno's.

I am confused... is this a CDMA or GSM phone? I looked at specs and I don't see any sim card slots... if so I assume by unlock you guys mean the carrier not international use?!?!
Which phone is better, Moto G Stylus 5G 6.8" or Galaxy A13 5g? both released 2021
Intended use is international, so will either of this phones, or one of them work with international carriers from other countries after unlocking?
Will any of these phones work in Canada and Europe after unlocking?

Given a choice, I tend to pick Snapdragon phones. Also, the Motorola seems to have more frequency bands available, meaning it might work with more companies around the world.
Best to check the specific country/provider you're planning to use.

Thank you.
I ordered Motorola, but next day I received email "order cancelled".
No explanation was given, credit card log shows "processing HSN transaction" for 3 days already, and the cost of the order was substracted from the available funds.
Had I knew about getting such a mess, I would have stayed out of HSN site (or this is TracFone issue, I don't know)

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like HSN problem. I've only ordered once from them and got lucky I guess. No problem with the order or the phones (flip phones that many people seem to have problems with). Hopefully it works out for you. I'd email/chat HSN customer service.
I was looking at the Motorola phone too to try and get another line but never got around to do it.

Got this as phone for child, was thinking we can use the service too, but wait a sec, please explain.
1500 Min/Text/Data/365 Days
1500 min the entire year? Only 1500 MB entire year also?! sheesh, I think the child can hold off 2 months as wifi only, but man, that data can be gone in a day. Is that accurate? it doesn't fill up monthly?!
