I just did this and it worked fine. I sent it as a gift to myself, though, so maybe that made a difference. It took about 10 minutes for the gift card to show up in my inbox.

This is better for larger purchases. If you are willing to deal with the extra step they have two happy cards at $30 GC for $25. Better % off but you have to go to the extra step to redeem each Happy Card for a Lowes GC. Max 2 per email.

Huh. I was declined without any reason. Had plenty of available credit and all personal info looked to be correct. Card balance even shows the hit then the return. I don't have a Kroger in my area, but I wouldn't think they would care. Really odd.

One of my cards was declined, my second card worked great for two. The fuel rewards points showed up almost immediately after the gift card purchase was verified. The Fuel rewards was on the full $400 which is nice, so 1600 points. I put them into my Lowes account right away and everything was good to go.

This happens to me every time I try to buy a giftcard through Kroger/Blackhawk. My credit card approves it, it shows as pending purchase, and then Blackhawk declines it. Their customer service through Blackhawk sucks, so I finally quit even trying...and then Kroger thanks me for my gift card purchase.

I don't know about online for this deal, but in store you can. I hustle Kroger fuel points like none other, easily have $3k+ in fuel this year. I usually buy $500 in visas(cost $530 after fee) then use those to buy other gift cards I will use like amazon or lowes or whatever else, get 4x points on each purchase. Essentially $500 in visas flipped to Lowe's will get you 4k points. My truck takes 35 gallons so I make out big time on the points and I always run it down to near E

Staples and others run Zero fees 1-2 weeks a month. LMAO

That's great but perhaps you didn't read what I do. I'm spending $530 to get 4k fuel points, at 35gal x $4/gal in free fuel in that comes out to $140 in free fuel so essentially $410 for $500 in gift cards. So I'll pay the $30 in fees to save $90 additional, not sure how that's dumb unless it's just too complicated for you to understand

Yup. Looks like I'm in the same boat. I tried a different card and even validated it was a good purchase with my bank and it was purchased then refunded. I'm done trying to save $40 on this one.

We can use only upto $1 off at max per gallon
