    Remote is IR, each strip and each light bar has its own IR receiver so all 4 can be controlled individually if you point the remote directly at each unit. I bought these for my Son's birthday recently and they work fine, had one issue with one of the light bars but power cycling it seemed to fix the issue of it not responding to the remote. The light bars are very flimsy and almost fall over with the weight of the USB cable alone but they can be mounted or screwed down. Also you need 3 USB ports to power all 4 lights.

    Colors were not very good/vibrant. Using the remote, pointing directly at the light bars I couldn't get it them change. Maybe mine came damaged since there was a slight rattle inside.

    Due to the hassle with controlling each light separately, needing 3 USB ports to power and the color quality I am going to return them.

    Just received these and they are probably worth about $10 at most. The light bars are super dim and no matter what mode I pick they just start flashing mode.

    They charge a $6.99 PICKUP fee if under $35. I literally just picked up $20 worth of items and didnt get charged this fee last week. WTF Wallmart? Im out.

    Be ware, our local WM has all of these products in store but still has them at the full price. Even though the web site shows them lower when that exact store is chosen. They are refusing to price match the web site, so you have to go through the rigmarole of doing a pickup order there as you're instore then coming back 3 hours later to pick it up to get the price. Same thing for all of the lowered price deals -- these lights, the Roku, etc...

    Waste of money. I got one that was missing one of the bar and color are very inaccurate. Get a 16.4 Govee RGBIC for a few dollars more instead.

    checking all your boxes, as one of mine had one of the reels the clear plastic was broke at the black control connection, but still worked. some super glue fixed it.
