And not everyone has the "$15 max discount" as you did, the OP got a "max $60 discount".
This is usually the case. If you heven't gotten the max. try using a few points on your next sold by amazon order. During previous Holiday seasons if used these discounts 3-4 times until they maxed out.

Although the promotion may not be applied to Amazon gift cards, you may apply the incentive to the purchase of third party gift cards and items sold and shipped by Amazon.

I got 40% max $60. I have a gold card saved, and also a platinum but it's expired and i never updated the expiration date on Amazon.

Maybe if I update my platinum expiration, I'll get to use the discount again? 🤔

Oddly I get 50% off, max $10. Or 15% off, max $15. It seems to kinda switch between the two depending on what's in my cart/gives me more
