Got a pair for myself and one as gift. Merry Xmas!
I got the model in the OP couple of years ago. The strap isn't as soft as the older model, but it's OK. The bad thing about this model is that the lugs on the bottom of the sandal actually break off.

Decker is good at advertising and creating followers that pay most prices.
Some stuff is not that great. See the reglue comments in here and the fast wearing Hoka soles.
Besides that look up the EPIC REI - Hoka collections threat sonewhere here.
Unfortunately Decker is pretty sleazy outfit IMHO.
