Everyone's experience will likely be different, and if you can get a working pair it def is a great price, but the earbuds were probably returned & refurbished for a reason. My 2 cents.
Highs are a bit rolled off but I also find these to have excessive bass so I tune down the bass a bit in the app for better balanced sound. Makes the highs just a bit clearer as well.
In Android I go into developer settings and set the LDAC bitrate to the highest 990 bps setting for near lossless audio.
For anyone else reading, to save you time, if you buy these Sony's and the medium stock tips fit you the best but you still don't like them, then buy the small size Comply tips (yes medium tips = small Comply tips). I bought the mediums first and returned them for the smalls.
