They caught on to it a long time ago...they don't care. That 2 battery plus charger special sku is simply no longer available shipped to home. I guess to make sure that stores have it in stock for as long as possible for the promo during the holiday shopping season

Check the red text. Both must have the same delivery method. Don't recall that happening before. Maybe it's something special with this battery pack like you said but I'm not so sure.
