About this item:- Room mapping: A LiDAR sensor on top of the vacuum scans your rooms in seconds and builds a floor plan on your phone that you can see, edit, and save
- Quick & efficient cleaning: Using the map built by the LIDAR sensor, Wyze Robot Vacuum divides rooms into sections and moves around in straight lines for the most efficient path possible
- Multi-surface vacuuming: Wyze Robot Vacuum cleans all surfaces, hard flooring and soft carpet. It can cross height gaps up to 0.8 in (20 mm) to clean across any bumps in the road
- Virtual Walls & Area Selection: Create virtual walls and restricted areas. Have cords under your desk? Dog bowls in the corner? No problem. Tell your Wyze Robot Vacuum where it can't go
- Self-charging: Wyze Robot Vacuum drives itself back to the charging station after it?s finished its path. Or if the battery gets low during cleaning, it returns for a charge before picking back up right where it left off

Also, people in the past have complained about the wheels leaving black streaks on the floor by the charger. I haven't experienced this so maybe they already fixed the issue.
eufy has one with home mapping for only $100

Once it has mapped both the floors there will be 2 maps saved and you can move it to the floor and use that map. Make sure that you get the charger also. Sometimes if ur home is big it will go back to the charger unit to charge itself and then resume.
The short: I returned The Wyze after two weeks and 8 cleanings.
The Long: Why? Marginal battery life. Could not complete my whole area (20% carpet - 80% laminate/tile/hard wood. 1350 square feet) Mapping was adequate. Not the same sophistication as the Roborock (Did not divide rooms well, etc) by any stretch. but its not a bad unit overall. It just has shortcomings (to be expected at this price). It did OK cleaning. No issues there but I was disappointed.
(Had the Wyze battery been the only issue I had, I may have attempted to get it replaced with a higher capacity one - likely from Ali - if I could while still in my return window. In the end my S5 fuse repair was successful so the Wyze got returned. And it would have been returned if the S5 was not fixed.)

This will prob help some people...I mapped the house a second time after I studied where it went and how it moves. I physically blocked off where I didn't want it to go before it mapped, now I don't have to worry about those areas. Each room is separated and can be vacuumed on command.
Every so often the recliner ends up being slightly out of position and it will get wedged under the side.
I'd gladly buy another one. For what it's worth, I tried a friend's Roomba before getting this, and I couldn't the random pattern. Seems so wasteful. Plus, the Wyze is very gentle when it does happen to bump something (lidar ftw). I don't have any marks on baseboards or flooring from bumps or wheels, and I'm a few days short of having it a full year.
My only gripe... When I got it, it said it was Alexa capable, but it took a months before feature was activated. I can ask Alexa to vacuum, but not pick a room. I've never let it fully run to see if it tries to vacuum everywhere by using Alexa. Besides, I enjoy picking what rooms need to be vacuumed from the app.
That's my honest review, hope it helps.

We have hardwood floor with a rug in the living room and it really struggles to move between the floor and rug, got stuck multiple times, thinking of returning.
Had the Roborock E4 before and it had no issues transitioning between rug and floor.
I honestly don't get all the bad comments from people.. ours have been great and at this price I almost want to get a third just in case we need another. Great value at $150.
According to my Walmart person they don't exchange any longer. But they will refund to gift card and then you can use the gift card to buy something else like the newer version from the exact same register. 😆
