I have both. Nest is larger but noticeably slower, both seem to have the same speaker loudness, and as for the bulbs, the Wiz with the Nest requires the Wiz app and is white 2700k color only, while the Lenovo is a color bulb and works with Tuya (works natively with Home Assistant that supports LAN control as well as cloud, if that matters to you)

I'd say, it depends on if you prefer the size vs speed trade off. This one is great next to a bedside, but so is the Nest. 🤷

Is the Google nest the superior product of the two deals?

Oh I didn't know about the slowness issue on the nest. I have a previous Lenovo smart 8inch so I guess no reason to upgrade. Thanks!

Yeah I have 3 of them spread throughout, I rarely use them for touch control as it is always slower than just using voice, but the voice control is as fast as any other with the screen results being nice, but I basically use them as smart picture frames with Google Assistant built in, which they're excellent for!

For those wondering this clock shows many many brands of cameras and I access my Nest doorbell and Yi cameras on it all the time without issue. It also will link to Apple Music. The only downfall is their older clock that just told the time had far better and louder speakers.

In case you don't want the bulb, you can save 5 bucks. I grabbed 2 so I can replace my Google minis and junk clocks.

How does it compare adaptive display wise? I like the nests ability to be super dim and match the surroundings almost like a matte photo frame.
