Anker is the king of the budget wireless buds. They don't compare to anyone, they're the only reasonably priced option that's not total garbage at the moment. laugh out loud

I also have AirPods Pro (gen 1) and think these sound great. But the noise cancellation is not great and I can't give an opinion on call quality as I use these as spare beaters at the gym. Do they sound better than the pros? I'd say no, but they're close enough considering the low price. One thing these have over the pros is the customizable eq via their app. Also, to put things into context, I also own the AirPods 2 & 3, Beats Studio buds, and a 2 pairs of jabras (I forget the model #'s, but they're the active versions).. So no, it's not paid propaganda. Btw, do you even own a pair of these?

I tried all the combinations of ear silicones they sent, for some reason this buds don't sit comfortably in my ears. I ended up returning this.

I have an Anker life note e which sits well and have been using it for a while. And got it for 12.99$ in a deal. I feel Anker life note e are better for me than these.

talking about running, there was a story out of canada, a woman runner was killed by a falling tree while running because she didn't hear the crackling noise as the tree broke. She had earbuds on.

Don't be stupid. laugh out loud god gave humans ears and eyes for reasons other than social media.

Using anecdotes and name calling to convince people of your opinion might need to be self-examined.

I like to believe that most people are capable of assessing risk to themselves. Sure, you can find freak accidents to back up your claim (don't swim in the ocean; someone got bit by a shark!). But people who did everything right still got hit by lightning, or t-boned in an intersection through no fault of their own. If running with NC earbuds somehow endangered other people, then maybe you'd be onto something. But it's not stupid. And we also evolved Reason so that we could use it. Personally, I'm not losing sleep over the potential of falling trees on the sidewalk.

These have a transparency mode, so you can hear your surroundings better with these than normal earbuds without noise cancellation.

These people are they walking in the tracks? How come someone can get hit by train? I can get someone getting hit by bus or car or bike but trains do not make sense

i was as surprised as you are. laugh out loud but the noise canceling and isolation headphones in general i suppose have gotten so good, that it can cancel out so much train noise, people who are unlucky and walking at a bad angle get hit by trains. it's hundreds of people. EEK!
